Payment completed but plan not updated
Use this checklist when payment succeeds but your plan still looks inactive.
Why can payment succeed before the plan updates?
A short sync delay can happen between payment confirmation and plan activation. In most cases, this resolves within a few minutes.
What should I check first after payment?
- Wait a few minutes, then refresh cursor.com/dashboard
- Check for a payment confirmation email from Cursor or Stripe
- Sign out and sign back in so your session refreshes plan state
- Confirm you are signed into the same email that was charged
What if the plan still shows free after I complete the checklist?
Contact hi@cursor.com and include:
- The email on your Cursor account
- The payment amount and date
- A payment confirmation or receipt
- A screenshot of your dashboard plan state
Can this happen when I switch plans or join a team?
Yes. Plan transitions can temporarily show stale billing state while account updates finish.
